Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Develooment of Georgia LEPL  "Georgian State  Hydrographic Service "  is a national coordinator of navigational warnings in Georgia,  comprising navigational devices located on coastline of Georgia, cardinal and lateral navigational signs placed in the open sea providing safe navigation. ( 48 land marks placed on land; 34 sea marks –located in the open sea, out of land marks 22 are located in occupied territory of Abkhazia).

 

Organizational structure of the service consists of following  divisions:

 

Administrative Division;

Financial Division, Chief Accountant ;

Division of Hydrographic Survey, Cartography and Correction;

Division of  Technical Service and Monitoring of Navigational Marks; 

Division of Radio -Navigation.

Georgian State hydrographic Service is a member of International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) and International association of lighthouse authorities (IALA).
